Based on a classic Martin Luther text, this Christmas anthem contains the angel's announcement of the Savior's birth in a manger and His birth within our hearts.  Russell Nagy supports the words with a joyful, exuberant melody, a driving, rhythmic accompaniment and a lovely, contrasting "B" theme.  This newly composed melody provides a nice contrast to the typical carol settings that populate so many Christmas concerts and services.  A full score and orchestral accompaniment (JH551A) is available.
