This arrangement of a lesser-known spiritual is just plain fun for the singer, the accompanist and, in particular, the listener.  The exuberant, joyful, unashamed declaration of God's saving grace is alternated with statements of Christ's ministry on earth.  He preached to the poor, healed the sick, raised the dead and washed our sin away.  Musical demands for the voices and keyboard are relatively modest, making this a great choice for any size choir.  Also available in SSA voicing in the collection SSA Lloyd Larson.
