SATB, keyboard, brass quintet and percussion.  Beginning with a mysterious setting of words from the third chapter of the Gospel of John, Mr. Courtney then moves us into an accompanied version of John Stainer's God So Loved the World before breaking into the mighty hymn, Lift High the Cross.  The addition of brass, percussion and congregation make this truly celebrative and the themes of salvation and evangelism make it suitable for much of the church year.
