I Am With You, the first of Three Sacred Canticles (Be Filled With the Spirit and Sing to the Lord a new Song are the other two titles), is based on the extraordinary words found in Zephaniah 3:17, in which God takes great delight in us, quiets us with His love and rejoices over us with singing.   This image, reminiscent of a mother holding her new-born child, provides a perfect text for child baptism or dedication and occasions when we wish to express the assurance of God's presence and love in our lives.  A flute part (BP1547A) is available.
