Returns and Refunds

Choosing music for your choir or congregation is not always easy to get right the first time. If printed music you bought from us turns out not to fit, you can send it back for store credit.

Printed music: 90 days, never used

You may return printed music within 90 days of delivery if it has never been used. That means exactly as it arrived: never handed out, rehearsed from or performed from, with no markings of any kind, no stamps, labels or names, and no creases, folds or bent corners.

Why so strict? Every copy we sell pays a royalty to the composer and arranger. A copy that has been sung from has already done its job, and returning it would take that royalty back from the people who wrote the music.

We inspect every return. Copies that do not meet this standard will be deducted from the credit.

Store credit

Accepted returns are credited to your Beckenhorst Press account as store credit for the price you paid for the music. Shipping charges are not credited. You can use the credit on any future order. Store credit does not expire.

If we made a mistake

If we sent the wrong title or quantity, or your music arrived damaged, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We will send a prepaid return label and either ship the right music or refund your original payment, whichever you prefer.

How to return

Sign in to your account and choose Return items on the order, or email orders@beckenhorstpress.com with your order number and the titles and quantities you are returning.
Pack the music flat and well protected, with your order number or a copy of your invoice or packing slip. Returns without an order number are subject to a 20% restocking fee, deducted from the store credit.
Mail it to Beckenhorst Press, Attn: Returns, 960 Old Henderson Rd, Columbus, OH 43220, using a trackable service. Return postage is your responsibility, and we cannot credit packages lost in transit.

We issue the store credit within 3-5 business days of receiving your return.

Not returnable

Digital downloads cannot be returned once purchased. If a file will not open, is damaged or is the wrong title, contact us and we will fix or replace it. See our Digital Download Policy for full terms. Rental music is covered by its own rental policy.
