A work for our time, yet a work for all times, Dan Forrest's newest major work is a profound lament for war, strife, and injustice, and a clarion call casting a radiant vision for the beauty of peace. Already hailed as his most mature work to date, it still remains accessible in both difficulty and overall length (40-50 minutes).

Commissioned by the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation, the work was premiered in Solomeo, Italy in June 2026. The official American premiere will be given in June 2027 by Rivertree Singers and Friends Festival, Greenville, SC.

Scored for SATB chorus, Soprano solo, and optional children's chorus or child soprano, with orchestra. (Small Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble versions forthcoming, TBD sometime later in 2027). Rehearsal Tracks available also greatly aid learning the choral parts.
