The opening solo may fool you into thinking that a traditional arrangement is in store. Once the men begin their syncopated ostinato, though, you’ll quickly discover that this is not your typical arrangement. Craig Courtney takes snippets of the melody and alters, repeats and layers them in completely unexpected ways. If you’re looking for a Christmas anthem that keeps you guessing, this is it.
