"At Calvary Episcopal Church, my parish in Cincinnati, we sing the congregational hymn More Love to Theewith great breadth and dignity. This anthem setting fulfilled a pre-Covid commission, and it was rewarding to formalize the way the hymn, in a sense, has been reinvented to me over the last several years.

The gravesite of William Doane (composer of the hymn's tune) is located in Cincinnati's massive and historic Spring Grove Cemetery, and is virtually visible from my home office window."
