Jon Hermanson's setting for SATB chorus combines text from Luke 24 ("Stay with us, Lord Jesus, stay with us"), and quotes from Abide With Me ("in life and death, O Lord, with us abide"), to present a simple yet stunning prayer for Christ's presence. A simple piano part adds support and dimension, or the work may be sung a cappella.
