Breath of God (Movement 4 of TRINITY: Our God of Hope and Help) creates a mysterious modal soundworld asking for the Spirit’s presence. This mystery then gives way to music of comfort and assurance of the Spirit before returning to the mystery of the Spirit’s presence. Each of the five movements of TRINITY functions as a standalone anthem. The complete work (c. 25 min.) traces the arc of God’s intimate care for His children through the three Persons of the Trinity, and is suitable for sacred concert performances, services of general praise, or special services such as Trinity Sunday and Thanksgiving.
