A work for our time, yet a work for all times, Dan Forrest's newest major work is a profound lament for war, strife, and injustice, and a clarion call casting a radiant vision for the beauty of peace. Already hailed as his most mature work to date, it still remains accessible in both difficulty and overall length (40-50 minutes).

Commissioned by the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation, the work was premiered in Solomeo, Italy in June 2026. The official American premiere will be given in June 2027 by Rivertree Singers and Friends Festival, Greenville, SC.

Scored for SATB chorus, Soprano solo, and optional children's chorus or child soprano, with orchestra. (Small Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble versions forthcoming, TBD in 2027). Rehearsal Tracks greatly aid learning the choral parts.

76-page Choral Score, saddle-stitched, with laminate cover. See Preview above for texts and other details. Also available in Digital (PDF) format for use on tablets, or for international customers wishing to print their own copies.

Separate Children’s Choir part available in print or digital.

Individual Movements from Dona Nobis Pacem are available upon request (as digital PDFs only) for $3.50 per copy, up to three movements.
